Your creator brief is your playbook

Every confirmed collaborator receives a Creator Brief with campaign-specific instructions: what to create, when to post, and which assets to use. Always follow your brief first.

This page is your shared resource library. Use it alongside your brief for messaging, hashtags, and the compliance rules that apply to everyone on the campaign.

What Charlie is all about

This is the heart of the story. Let it shape your content: don't repeat it word for word, feel it.

The Message
Charlie never gave up. A six-pound pup, left in a cardboard box on a stormy Kansas night, crosses a big world to find the one thing we're all looking for: a place to belong.

The vibe

Warm, hopeful, and a little bit brave. Think a rescue pup curling up on a new couch, a kid reading under a blanket fort, a family that found each other. Heart first, never sappy.

Family-safe and faith-friendly by default. Charlie's story is about perseverance, kindness, and finding your way home, and your content should feel the same.

You're the creative. We're giving you the message and the mood: how you bring it to life is up to you.

What you're part of, and what you get

Charlie starts as a book and grows from there. The collaborators who help build her audience now are the ones in the room when she makes her debut.

The Charlie Book Premiere. A red-carpet premiere party and the very first live reading of Charlie, taped in front of an audience, with the author and the story team in the room. It's the moment the whole campaign builds toward, and active collaborators can earn a seat.

📅 January 2027 📍 Manhattan Beach, CA 🎟 Limited collaborator seats

How to earn a seat, plus dates and details, will be shared in your Creator Brief. Travel, lodging, and parking are not included.

The story

Know the story so your content sounds informed, not scripted. Just don't spoil the ending.

Charlie the Pomeranian in her teal Charlie collar

Meet Charlie

Charlie is a six-pound Pomeranian who starts her story in a cardboard box on a stormy Kansas night, left outside a general store with a crayon sign that reads "Please find me a home."

From there it's a small dog in a very big world: the streets of Miami, rival animal packs, a hurricane, and a daring rescue that makes the evening news. Through all of it, Charlie never gives up on finding a family.

The book launches in January 2027, and it's only the first chapter. Charlie is being built as a family franchise, and your content helps introduce her before the rest of the world catches on.

Do's & don'ts

Follow these on every piece of content. Content that breaks them may be removed, and repeat issues end the collaboration.

Your content may be shared

Content you create for this campaign may be reshared, repurposed, or amplified across Charlie's channels. That means it needs to be 100% clear of third-party trademarks, copyrighted material, or intellectual property you don't have rights to.

That includes other studios' characters, movie posters, film clips, logos, music, and artwork. If it isn't from your approved Charlie assets or something you personally created, leave it out.

✓ Do
  • Tell Charlie's story in your own voice
  • Connect it to your real life: your rescue, your kids, your own never-give-up moment
  • Use approved Charlie assets or content you created yourself
  • Include the required hashtags and a clear disclosure
  • Mention that the book arrives January 2027
  • Keep it family-friendly, hopeful, and kind
  • Film in clean spaces free of third-party logos and branding
✗ Don't
  • Call Charlie a Disney, Pixar, or DreamWorks project. Share the team's credits, never a studio connection
  • Use posters, clips, characters, or music from other films
  • Spoil the ending or share unreleased pages
  • Promise premiere seats or share event details that aren't in your brief
  • Alter the character art or official assets
  • Create AI-generated versions of Charlie or her friends
  • Use trending sounds or audio you don't have rights to
  • Post anything that isn't family-safe

FTC & disclosure requirements

Federal law requires clear disclosure whenever you receive something of value. These rules protect you as much as they protect Charlie.

The Basics: Know These Cold
A gifted book counts

A free book, early access, or an event invitation is a "material connection." If you received anything of value, you disclose.

Placement matters

Disclosure goes in the first two lines of your caption, before the "more" cutoff. In video, say it out loud early on.

The stakes are real

FTC penalties can exceed $50,000 per violation, and both creators and brands can be held liable.
